The Cross is among the oldest and most universal of symbols. Passion, Heralds said the passion cross represent the virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity. It also reminds us about being more conscious with our aims and desires and be ready to sacrifice something that no longer serves us for something greater. The French word for 'sharpened' is aiguisé and in heraldry it is called the Cross Aiguisé.
